As I sit down to reflect on 2024, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude, pride, and a little disbelief. This year marked the official launch of TravelTod, a dream that started in my heart and came to life through endless hours of passion, and perseverance.
Building my own brand has been nothing short of a true journey—a rollercoaster ride with its share of challenges, triumphs, frustrations, and moments of pure joy. There were days I felt unstoppable and others where I questioned if I had taken on too much (not my first entrepreneurial journey, but the first one that involves only me and my family).
But every moment was worth it because TravelTod isn’t just a business—it’s a piece of me, inspired by my life as a mom of two little ones under the age of three, just 15 months apart.
The Balancing Act
Launching a brand while raising two young children is a delicate balance, one that requires patience, flexibility, and a whole lot of coffee! My days often begin with diaper changes and toddler giggles, followed by emails, fabric samples, and creative brainstorming sessions. By evening, I’m back to storybooks, messy dinners, and the bedtime hustle. It’s chaotic, yes—but it’s my chaos, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
The moments that mean the most to me are those I get to spend with my kids. Watching them grow together, play together, and develop their own little sibling bond has been the most beautiful gift of all. Their laughter is my fuel on the hardest days, and their curiosity reminds me why I started this journey in the first place.
